Introduction:
In SSC CHSL Tier 1, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning need quick calculations and logical thinking. Using shortcuts and tricks can save time and improve accuracy.

1. Quantitative Aptitude Shortcuts

• Percentage:

  • Quick conversions: 25% = 1/4, 50% = 1/2, 12.5% = 1/8

  • Shortcut for increase/decrease:

• Profit & Loss:

• Time, Speed, Distance:

  • Distance = Speed × Time

  • Time = Distance ÷ Speed

• Simplification Tricks:

  • Use factorization and approximation for faster calculation

2. Reasoning Shortcuts

• Series & Pattern Recognition:
