Lesson 5.2: Inserting Slides and Text
This lesson teaches how to add new slides and insert different types of text into your presentation.
🧩 Adding New Slides
In Microsoft PowerPoint:

Go to the Home tab.

Click on New Slide.

Choose a layout (Title & Content, Two Content, Blank, etc.).
Shortcut:
Press Ctrl + M to insert a new slide quickly.
In Google Slides:

Click the “+” button in the toolbar.

Or go to Slide → New Slide.

Use Ctrl + M for a new slide as well.
🖋️ Typing Text in Slides

Click inside the Title box or Content box.

Start typing.

You can move and resize text boxes as needed.
🧰 Formatting Text (Basic Tools):

| Bold | Highlight important words (Ctrl + B) |
| Italic | Use for emphasis (Ctrl + I) |
| Underline | For underlining (Ctrl + U) |
| Font Size | Make text larger or smaller |
| Font Color | Change text color |
| Alignment | Left, Center, Right, Justify |
