Lesson 2.7: Creating and Formatting Charts in Excel
Charts help you visually represent data to make it easier to understand and compare.
🔹 Types of Common Charts:

🔸 Steps to Create a Chart:

Select the data range (including headings).

Go to the Insert tab.

Choose a chart type from the Charts group.

Click on the desired chart (e.g., Pie, Column, Line).

The chart will appear on the sheet.
🔹 Formatting a Chart:
Once the chart is inserted, you can customize it:

Chart Title – Click to edit the name.

Legend – Show/hide or move it.

Colors – Change bar or line colors.

Labels – Show data values on the chart.
Use the Chart Tools tabs (Design and Format) to make changes.
